Thoughts after watching Twilight: Eclipse

The whole thing would have been a lot less torturous if everyone listened to Jacob and accepted that you can love more than one person at a time, and just did it already.

It felt like Jacob was the spokesperson for the ‘other side’ – how blooded, sexual, animalistic, and CLEARLY advocating for a polyamourous living environment.

Edward on the other hand, was active on the ‘abstinence and romance’ side; bloodless devotion, lots of conversation and little physicality.

    So I’m clearly Team Jacob.

And Jacob will never win in these series.

I mean, he lives in a wooden house, with a single bed. He wear jeans cut offs all the time. That’s clearly to make sure all the teenage girls watching will swoon over the glass castle with the four poster princess bed W buys Bella.

(Ironically, both sides present sex as having danger: Edward would hurt Bella with his strength, break her bones, where Jacob could lose his temper and maul Bella like Sam did Emily, leaving her disfigured. )
